Payment

The Silk Road will telephone you to confirm your order and take payment which can be by any major debit/credit card or by cheque.  If payment is made by cheque please make it payable to "The Silk Road" and allow 5 days for clearance.

Shipping

The Silk Road provides free shipping with all orders over £100 within the United Kingdom (this does not apply to wholesale orders).  For orders under £100 you will be informed of shipping cost at the time of payment.  This will be on a scale depending on the size, weight and thickness of the package to a maximum of £5.  We will inform you of estimated delivery time at the time of purchase but aim to deliver in 2 - 3 days. Any item which may be out of stock could take up to 28 days delivery.  Orders within the Somerset area can be collected - please contact The Silk Road if you wish to do this.

Refunds & Returns

The Silk Road has a no quibble returns policy, if you do not like the product or the colour we will either exchange for a product of the same value or refund the full amount less the cost of postage.

You are entitled to return any product ordered via The Silk Road website within seven (7) calendar days following the date of delivery, subject to the following terms and conditions:

• If you return items which are unwanted then the original postage costs will be subtracted from the total price and the subsequent amount refunded.
• Any product you wish to exchange for a more or less expensive product you will be charged or refunded accordingly.
• Please return any products you do not wish to keep enclosing your receipt.

Privacy Notice

You can use The Silk Road website without submitting personal data. However, if you place an order on the website, we do ask you to supply the data necessary for us to invoice you and deliver your goods: your name, address, email address, etc.   Alternatively you can place an order and make a payment by telephone or email maggs@silkroadcollection.co.uk

The Silk Road undertakes only to disclose your personal data to third parties involved in the ordering process: bank, delivery service, etc.

The Silk Road may also disclose data wherever necessary to identify or question any individual who, intentionally or unintentionally, damages the property or infringes the rights of The Silk Road, other Silk Road website users or any persons penalized as a result of such actions.
